St. Catharines Flying Club

Instructions for Students 

Individual training flights are booked at ½ hour intervals to allow spacing between arriving and departing students.

All training flights are to be pre-booked with an instructor.

If you do not have a regular instructor or he/she is no longer employed by the club, contact the dispatch desk for assistance.

There is a COVID-19 screening form available from your instructor or the club web site. Have the form completed when you arrive at the club.

Pre-flight and post flight briefings will be conducted in the classroom. Several stations have been set up isolated from each other by curtains. The stations are sanitized after each use. Until further notice, the lounge area is off limits except for staff. Washroom access is through the hangar

Entry to the club will be through the double doors in the parking lot. Prior to entering, sanitize your hands with the provided disinfectant and put your mask on. Masks will be available to those who do not have one and must be worn covering your mouth and nose for the duration of your lesson. Present your screening form to your instructor who will confirm your answers and take and record your temperature. The form will be kept on file at the club.

From the classroom, after your briefing, you can get to your plane by going through the hangar. After completing your pre-flight inspection, return to the classroom, disinfect your hands and sign out with your instructor.

Aircraft will be disinfected after each flight.

Post-flight, return to the classroom via the hangar and complete your post flight briefing.
